On Clitherall Lake ~ Clitherall Lake has 2493 surface acres of water and its unique shape gives it 14.2 miles of shoreline and an impressive water clarity of 13+ feet. Fish for your favorite Minnesota species: Walleye, Crappie, Bluegill, Large Mouth Bass, Small Mouth Bass, Northern, and/or Muskie and enter into our season long catch and release fishing contest.

The Bonnie Beach Lodge with game room, library, WiFi, and laundry is open daily. We have candy, snacks, and cold drinks, select grocery items, frozen pizza, Minnesota’s own Schwan’s Ice Cream treats, clothing, live bait, and pure premium gasoline for purchase. Play Nintendo Switch and pool in the Lodge. There are also board games, books, and puzzles for guest use on their Minnesota vacation. Coin operated washer and dryer are also located in the lodge.

Bonnie Beach Resort is conveniently located 2.5 miles from the town of Battle Lake, MN and a short drive to Fergus Falls, MN, Detroit Lakes, MN, Perham, MN, and Alexandria, MN. In and around Bonnie Beach Resort are numerous traditional small towns with their own personalities. Antique, craft and gift stores abound in the area. Visit one of the area bowling alleys or a museum. In the larger communities you will find familiar retail stores. Our area dining options are unlimited, from fine dining to that little coffee shop. We have some of the best golfing available, from par 3’s for the beginner to challenging 18 hole courses. Want to see nature off the resort grounds, we have two beautiful lake filled State Parks nearby, numerous County Parks such as Phelps Mill and Inspiration Peak, miles of biking trails, scenic byways, and birding trails.
